“Akshardham”Swaminarayan Mandir, Powai – Yogi Divine Society conduct ONLINE WEBINAR & BALSHIBIR

MUMBAI, 08 JUNE, 2020 (TGN):  “Akshardham”Swaminarayan Mandir, Powai – Yogi Divine Society has successfully completed first ever WEBINAR on ‘New World order after COVID-19’ on 22nd March 2020. After that recently they also concluded an online Bal Shibir on 30th – 31st May 2020. Normally, they do children’s camp during summer, every year in summer. But, due to lockdown scenario, they took initiative and amazingly did first ever Online Bal Shibir in Gunatit Samaj of Swaminarayan sect.
The children were divided in three groups – Group 1 consisting of age group 5-10, Group 2 of age group 10-15 and Group 3 of age group 15-20. The children were given homework from various book of memorizing Swamini Vato, Vachnamrut, Bhajans, Shlokas etc. the sessions comprised of Yoga, Exercise, Presentations and Online Quiz. The last session ended with dance sequence at their respective places. 236 children registered for the event, which were divided in above mentioned groups and 10 teachers were appointed to guide them in their homework and presentations. Kids were so happy, this shibir served as stress buster to them and they really enjoyed the shibir through Digital platform. It also added values and knowledge in them with the use of Digital Technology from home. Technical team consisting of five dedicated people from temple helped in implementing the idea conceived by YDS management committee, mainly their Saints P.P. Bharatbhai, P.P. Vashibhai, P. Rajubhai and P.Ashwinhai.
Overall this was a unique experience for kids and unique help from Yogi Divine Society from Mumbai, Aurangabad, Pune, Nasik, Vapi etc. ENDS
