MUMBAI, 22 JANUARY, 2020 (TGN): - Kohinoor Hospital has been adjudged with 2nd rank in the MCGM’s Swachh Survekshan 2020 under ‘Swachha Private Hospitals’ category. This acknowledgement is result of sincere and focused efforts towards maintaining utmost cleanliness standards, in and around the Hospital.
Dr Snehal Kansaria, COO and Mr Atul Modak, VP from Kohinoor Hospitalwere felicitated with certificate and medal at the hand of Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar in the presence of Maharashtra State Minister for Environment, Tourism & Culture Shri Aaditya Thackeray. Kohinoor Hospital has been – chosen as one of the top two hospitals from among 60 hospitals of the city for cleanliness and doing their bit for safeguarding the environment as the hospital is a LEED certified Platinum rated Green Hospital. It is double celebration for Kohinoor Hospital as Hospital had recently celebrated its 10thanniversary and now Kohinoor Hospital received 2nd rank in MCGM’s Swachh Survekshan 2020.
The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) had conducted competition of Swachh Survekshan 2020. The MCGM has appointed United Way Mumbai as the third party assessor for conducting the exercise of ranking. This competition is to assess the cleanliness standards. In keeping with the guidelines issued by the Government of India under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan; the MCGM has conducted the exercise for ranking Hospitals, Hotels, Schools and other categories in Mumbai on the basis of their cleanliness.
In order to mark the occasion, Kohinoor Hospital has launched the ‘Swasthya Sabka’ initiative wherein special packages have been created without any compromise on the quality for Total Knee Replacement surgery & Cataract Surgery currently, and special discounts have been offered for Pathology and Radiology Services, Health Checkups, Physiotherapy Sessions, Diet Consultation and OPD Consultation with a sole intention of providing quality healthcare at an affordable price so that maximum people can avail quality care and not be deprived of it for financial constraints.
